Overview of Class
This class will investigate the topics and principles in the field of Biotechnology. Biotechnology is a field of applied biology that involves the use of living organisms and bioprocesses in engineering, technology, medicine and other fields requiring bioproducts. Biotechnology also utilizes these products for manufacturing purpose. In
this course students will investigate biotechnology through discussion, cooperative learning, written reflection, laboratory work and scientific inquiry.
